Evan, we wouldn't have left you behind. Dave hasn't made the general announcement yet, he is going to launch the site next week, so I was just going along with that. Looks like people are finding their way here though, and that's good.
Polly - the Japanese Irises are doing well. I hope I get a cold enough winter this year so that maybe our experiment to see if they will bloom in the deep south proves fruitful!
I am growing a couple of Bearded Irises in containers here. Received in a trade from a lovely lady. One bloomed this year for me and I love it! I really didn't think I could grow the bearded types here in zone 9a/10b. But I can and they DO indeed bloom!

What an adventure, and I love being in on the ground floor. Sue and I were going to keep our cubits in Cubits, but later decided to move clematis and roses here. Sadly, our poor pets got left behind in the nearly empty cubits. They allegedly have nothing to do with gardening. Says who?
