ugh
This is me thinking about it.... frozen cheeks(not blushing)
or this is why you get oriental lilies and such and I don't...might think the better part of the deal is looking at your lily pictures and snow pictures right now.
May next week contain nicer weather!
One to take to heart....1 John 4 ..............................................Where there is smoke...there is fire...in most cases the smoke will kill you long before the fire consumes you. Beware of smoke screens! Freedom is not free and when those who have not paid the price or made the sacrifice...think that only they are right and entitled to speak...they bring us tryanny.

That looks great Dave! I bet you will get some good ones out of all of those.
I wish there were basements here.
May you, your family, and lilies be blessed with success!

I'm not going to start a different thread for this year. Rather just continue it instead.
Spring has finally come to southern Wisconsin. I have a nice group of Martagon lilies coming up exceptionally strong and healthy this year. The best they have come up. But it is their third year.
I hope everyone who reads this has a good spring and a great year with their gardens. No matter if you garden with flowers and ornamental plants, or for food.

They look like they just want to jump right up there and grow!

Awesome
I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm so glad you got me hooked on lilies I love all of mine and I'm enabling others too including my two daughters
Greetings everyone. Things are finally starting to wake up around here. Even better most survived the snow storm we had last weekend.
It was a gorgeous day today so I got some bulbs planted along with some lily and peony seedlings. Next week I pick up the 3 magnolia trees I bought so I get to plant those. Hope everyone has a good season!

Dave... you are a good man...you believe in flower beds rather than lawn! What does the wire fencing need to keep out? The green of your grass is amazing.
May you be blessed with a wonderful bloom season!

Sharon, thank you for the compliments. The grass just greened up so it's still pretty fresh. Of course the more flower beds I have, the less I have to mow.
The fencing is too keep rabbits out of the lily beds
Getting going in the gardens. One lily bed is starting to come up nice, the other one is being slow. Which probably isn't a bad thing with the weather we have had.
Seedling section closest to the bottom, L shaped section. Hopefully some first time bloomers in there.
Almost always the first bloom of spring.
New Magnolia tree planted in the soon to be expanded area. This was 'Woodsman' Magnolia
2 other magnolia trees that will be planted in the back yard.
I have a few other pictures, but they mostly show various clumps of lilies.
