Some interesting crosses have started to germinate. Soon if will be going crazy in the basement with seedlings, all too wait to see the first bloom.

It's so good to see a bloom right now and so cool that it bloomed in the pot!

It is too good. I am happy to see this.

I'm not going to start a different thread for this year. Rather just continue it instead.

Spring has finally come to southern Wisconsin. I have a nice group of Martagon lilies coming up exceptionally strong and healthy this year. The best they have come up. But it is their third year.



I hope everyone who reads this has a good spring and a great year with their gardens. No matter if you garden with flowers and ornamental plants, or for food.

They look like they just want to jump right up there and grow!

They are great flowers! The foliage isn't much to look at after they bloom, but that's no big deal

Greetings everyone. Things are finally starting to wake up around here. Even better most survived the snow storm we had last weekend.

It was a gorgeous day today so I got some bulbs planted along with some lily and peony seedlings. Next week I pick up the 3 magnolia trees I bought so I get to plant those. Hope everyone has a good season!

Dave... you are a good man...you believe in flower beds rather than lawn! What does the wire fencing need to keep out? The green of your grass is amazing.

Sharon, thank you for the compliments. The grass just greened up so it's still pretty fresh. Of course the more flower beds I have, the less I have to mow.

Getting going in the gardens. One lily bed is starting to come up nice, the other one is being slow. Which probably isn't a bad thing with the weather we have had.
