Nice blooms J. I'm still about a week away from the first lily bloom on some martagons.

Some of my lilies seem to be not doing so well, and Summer Palace has not even come up yet along with a couple others.

You got some good looking 2nd tier (1st tier being Lilium, of coarse) plants Dave; and most of your lilies look well and happy. Martagon does look close.
I've never grown a martagon successfully.

Some plants are stressed right now. The sudden heat and quickened growth caused it. I added some epsom salt yesterday to add some more minerals to the soil. Mixed with the rain we had the other day, should help them recover.

Sorry your plants are stressed but I do understand it. The weather has caused problems everywhere. It is sad but I am at the point of already saying I can not wait until next year. I hope it improves for you, I enjoy seeing your fantastic lilies.

May everyone be blessed with a good gardening season!

First blooming lily this year. A seedling of mine. Flower is all messed up! Missing the anthers and stigma. One petal is split. It will get one more year. If it does it again it will get ripped out and thrown away

One stem did this. Called fasciation. Should be normal. But that's a ton of trumpet flowers for that stem to handle.

Baby birds, Lilies, and fasciation!

"I am fully fascinated by fasciation." Say that 5 times really fast. Green Grin!

I agree with Kabby I have the envy, too!

May you continually be blessed with a wonderful garden, home and family!

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! WOW Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I really like your seedlings, You did a fantastic job!
That is cool that they are siblings. They would look stunning in a garden planted next to each other. Just a little different in color, but the colors match each other and they bloom at the same time. Thumbs up

I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you.
