With all the rain we've been having, rain=cloudy skies. While spring might not give us particularly warm days because of lack of sunshine, I'm betting we don't have many frosty nights in store, either. We're supposed to get down to 26° tomorrow night, but after this cold coming weekend, our 15 day forecast is lows in the 40s and 50s.
It's raining again now, and on radar it looks like lots of rain today. Forecast is an inch of rain, windy and some thunderstorms. With our tornadoes so fresh in memory, that's going to make a lot of people nervous, not to mention making survivors and clean-up miserable.
This has been one of the warmest winters on record. If you follow this article to page 2, it shows that Texas defied LaNina and had it's 14th wettest year, easing drought conditions.
