I wonder if he's being extra generous right now because it's the end of the shipping season and he needs to reduce his inventory or something. It's absolutely amazing -- and neither one of us ordered a 2012 intro in our orders where BARBARA BARNES was the weekly special, yet he sent each of us a 2012 introduction as a gift plant! Of course, this was my third order this year and I did spend a lot of $$ if you total it all up, but still -- totally amazingly generous! I hope this isn't a sign that he's about to retire or something...

I didn't even look at the postage, but I think I should request he charge my card for the extra postage too.

JWWC, I really love the San Diego area. We own four weeks at a time share in Oceanside and head down there from Bakersfield three times a year. In fact, we're going again for a week on Oct. 17th. And I don't know about getting plants into California anyway. We have those inspection stations on the highways, but I do know that my sister and I have been able to bring Japanese maples back from Oregon with no problem. We had the nursery inspection certifications with us, but they didn't even ask to see them.

This was my third order also this year and I did order a couple of his new ones earlier, Hot Seat and Soft Contrast, still nevertheless I think he is extra generous with bonus plants whenever you order. I agree maybe it is because it is the end of the season but I still have another order I want to put in before the end of Sept. I want to get Prototype and Overheated.

Wow! I can't wait to open my box next week. i know it should be coming since they just ran my card. Bill is really truly awesome. I'll try to remember to take pics of my loot to share with you guys. I'm on vacation all week so that will make it easier to remember

He is very awesome! He let me add four more daylilies to my order and gave me the bonus plant, ARTISTICALLY ENGRAVED!! Two of them were BOGO, so they were their own bonus to begin with.

Oh definitely get HI HO SILVER! It took a season to settle in for me but I love it.

I started to get Hi Ho Silver but decided to wait till next week to see what is the special. So far I have two of the specials.
I just added THE TERMINATOR, CASA DES JUAN-BOGO, WILD CHILD-BOGO, LEDGEWOOD'S FIRECRACKER, which I had already ordered, but decided to get a second one. It has big flowers and the price is right.

I love the Cradle of Bethlehem! My next order is HI HO SILVER, NORTH WIND DANCER (budbuilder) and WEBSTER'S PINK WONDER( a massive 13 inches wide).

Well, I mean so far.

Well you're probably looking forward to being back at home again! Must have been a bit of a shock moving from San Diego! We moved from the Bay Area to north of Chicago, and it was awful!

I got my first two orders from him last year and he was that generous to me then. I'll have some more in after next week I hope. From what I have read about him and from what I got last year, I'd say he is always that generous with everyone. I'm like hyou,, don't know how he makes money but he sure does make loyal fans. I've emailed him earlier this year and invited him to visit our site so he could see just how much he is appreciated.

HA! I still haven't looked!! I'm so strong this year that it's not even funny! That, and I have NO room to squeeze in any new ones, especially since I planted way more seeds that I thought I would!

OMG!! It is beautiful. I could not afford that one, but I will buy a few more BOGO's.

It is absolutely gorgeous! I have it in a pot for hybridizing use.



Other beauties like SHORES OF TIME looked pretty sad here in hot old Bakersfield, but RACHELLE AGIN still had beautiful edges here!

Betty, it sure is pretty. This is making it even harder to not buy. I haven't yet, though.
