Hello, everyone. Been a few days since I was here.

JT, do you think the fig you have would be hardy in zone 8a............. we were zone 7b but now are just within the edge of zone 8a. Sandy would like to try your fig. And she would like a few of your named Epiphyllum hybrids. Thanks.

Won't be long now!!!

Thanks, JT. Sandy will appreciate those plant treasures!
I have been posting photos on Facebook of the Epipyllum blossoms from the cuttings I got from you several years ago. I am so excited by the ones that have blossomed and the ones yet to come!

Sorry for any confusion over my two accounts on this forum. But they are both me! At least I am consistant with the doggies theme! Sticking tongue out

JT, I've got a 3 1/2 - 4 ft lavender butterfly bush you can have. Did you ever get a tapioca tree/shrub? The bees love it. It blooms late spring. It does drop seeds that make it a bit invasive for me, but I just pull them up while young.

It's in the same family, JT. There are lots of milkweeds. I believe the ones she is offering may be annuals. We have a native here is Georgia that is red/orange/yellow, that is a perennial. I grew Mexican milkweed and still get one or two volunteers a year. It is an annual and is brilliant yellow, and the butterflies love it. I will have to see if I have any volunteers out in the gardens............. I put down pre-emergent last Fall and it has worked ..........very few weeds but also likely no volunteers!

Sandy does have a pink Butterfly Bush/buddleia for you in a 3 gallon pot, JT!

Hurray! Hurray! OH..great..I love the reds .. Vitifolia is such a dark red... I gust got miniata...another dark red.. i'll be able to place them around and be of similar color but different together... it will be a passion filled summer.. thanks...
I rippped away 1/2 of the cool room yesterday getting them acclimated for plantind all out later in the week... another week of setting things up and I can be away visiting .. If I can just keep the clients clammering for beauty and/or repair at bay..
this is overwintering here... plants dug up and the root balls placed against one another filling the entire floor... they like it better than being cramed into pots.. as I have to trim the root balls more to fit them in pots... already they were trimmed brutally... anything over a foot or better chopped off to be stored... they didin't need more butchering to get them fitting in..
