First let's see if we can sort it out so that you can upload your photos yourself. Do you just use a phone to access the website, or do you take photos on the phone and access the site via your computer instead?

It is possible to upload photos directly from your phone using the browser. If you can make a forum post from your phone, then you should be able to upload a photo.


By the way, it's not a good idea to post your email address on a public forum, so I have removed it for you. All members have access to the "treemail" system on this website.

Thank you for removing my email address and trying to help me. I don't use a computer, I only use my phone to access this site as well as to take pictures.

I am not sure even what a browser is. I know how to email and text photos.

I won't give up. Have some pretty garden pics.

Hi Mindi,

You're welcome.

The browser is the app you use to access the Internet (and hence this website). It could be Safari, Chrome, Firefox or something else.

When you post in the forum, at the bottom of the text box you should see a button labelled "Upload an image". If you tap this on your phone, it will probably ask you how you want to complete the action. Usually there's something like "Gallery", "Documents" or "File Browser/Manager" as an option. Most, if not all, of these should allow you to select a photo to upload.

Welcome Mindi/ I upload photos here to post all the time. In fact I have no photos stored on my laptop so they only come from my phone.

Try this:
1) At the bottom of the post, click on the option "Upload an image".
2) My phone shows the most recent photos I have taken. Or I can click on the "hamburger", the three lines at the top left for more choices of where my photos are stored, like the 'Gallery' on my Android.
3) Choose a folder or photo. click "Open" at the top of the page.
4) Dave has already programmed in a photo link for your and it will show up as "lightbox".
5) At the bottom of the page it allows you to "add another photo" , click on that if you want to share more photos and follow the same order above.

It looked like it was uploading the pictures but then nothing was there. This seems like it should be easy. I'll keep trying on this thread. I have what looks to be an iPhone s. It was a hand me down from my husband. I didn't really receive a tutorial lol. Will keep trying!!

What you should see once a photo uploads is a bit of code - the image won't actually appear in the text box where you're typing your post.

It'll look something like this:

Maybe tomorrow my brain will work. Iam going to keep trying a few more times before bed. I made a folder and lost it lol 😂

Your instructions are awesome by the way. Maybe my husband can show me tomorrow. He's Mr. IT.
