Thanks! The top is a piece of eucalyptus root from my yard that I sanded, waxed and drilled. Somewhere I have a box of 35-year old driftwood that I collected to use for wind chimes.....sigh.....

Well... I finally mounted the wind chime made for this thread in it's perminant location.. as a part of my American Dream Catcher.. [ still in progress ] got to still do some work on the hand.. repaint or remove the flaking paint it came with.. and give it a manicure.. w/ perhaps a bright red nail polish..
attachment of the hand was a bit of a problem.. I cut off the internal metal attachment from the wrist.. cut a stepedslot to go around the metal table top circle.. then taped it in place and shot the expanding spray foam into the hand .. which stuck it to the edge of the metal circle.. I just love the spray foam for sticking most everything together.. if you have ever got some on you... you understand the extreme adheasive nature of it...

It's mine wind chime. I like it very much. Do you like?
I found a nice selection on this blog and bought it on Amazon. Now it makes me and my family happy.

I'm glad this old thread has come up again! Lots of fun wind chimes! Quite a while ago I didn't know how to cut glass. A friend gave me a huge box of her glass cutting pieces. They were all different shapes. I decided to make a windchime out of them and here it is:

Thumb of 2020-11-04/plantmanager/1cf0d2

This is still going strong! I used the copper tubing that is used to hook up refrigerator water tubes for the ice. I had to teach myself how to drill glass to make this. I was pleased with the way it turned out.
