I'm only up to 441 images, but all of them except 2 were taken in my yard so I'm OK with that....need to get out more. Whistling

That's my thing too, Gin...the images I've uploaded are of my plants in my yard. I figure my image count will go up when my 190 different daylilies start blooming this year. Whistling

Well, there's only about 140 now, but I've got almost 4 dozen on order from earlybird daylilies in Kansas, and when they arrive, it'll be 190. And next weekend is the spring regional daylily meeting with the bargain plant table -- I'm drooling just thinking about it. Hilarious!

Gosh, I got curious and went to my profile page ... I had no idea that my image count was at 2,000! Most are my plants (past and present) and then there are some from the botanical gardens but I do have a problem with entering way too many photo's that are very similar shots. Someone posted about that a few days back and it made me feel really guilty and I know I need to sit down at some point and go through and request many to be deleted because they are so similar.

Y'all are doing great; keep up the good work! Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up

Mary: My goodness ... 190 different Daylilies??? Wow, your garden is going to be Amazingly Beautiful! I've never gotten into Day Lilies but this spring purchased a couple packs of bulbs at Wal-Mart ('Final Touch', 'Eenie Allegro' and 'Little Missy'). Final Touch just began blooming and although the first two blooms got beat badly by our high winds yesterday I can definitely see why folks get hooked on Day Lilies ... and I know I will be wanting to add more to my garden! I need to go through the ones in the database ... but that will probably get me in big trouble cause I'll want every one I see!!

Lin, in 2010, I bought 6 half-price daylilies from Lowes. Three years later, I have almost 150 and another 50 inbound. As I said in a post on the daylily forum 18 months ago, I TOTALLY blame calif_sue for this. Her awesome pictures kept showing up in the random plants, and pushing their way into my heart. Then I met the awesome daylily people in my area and the addiction was finalized. Hilarious! I'm building new raised beds in the front yard just to have a place to put them. But in the daylily world, I'm a piker. I have friends who have thousands of daylilies in their yards. Thumbs up

I'm wondering what the length of bloom time is for them here in Florida ... I can just picture thousands of them. Green Grin! Look forward to seeing pictures of your garden full when they are in bloom; I know it's going to be sooo pretty!

Lin, you have some of the best growers/hybridizers relatively close to you. Betcha can ask one of them. I think these are mainly in and around Deltona.

Debra: Thanks so much for that link, that place is in my county and not too far away ... I've bookmarked that site. Thumbs up
I'm getting so forgetful as I get older Green Grin! I think someone awhile back told me about a Daylily nursery in my county that's not too far from me!

I multi-task, uploading while watching TV and now they go fast for me. Green Grin! Did a lot while recovering from a bad ankle sprain 3 months ago, still have trouble with it. The majority of the photos belong to other nurseries that have given permission but I do get to lots of public gardens and nurseries too. Thumbs up
