Virginiarose - I started an asclepias tuberosa from seed in 2004 and it did real well. Well enough that I saved seed and started some more. I still have seeds and I'd be happy to send you some. Or you could wait until fall for fresh.... But I do have 2011 seeds.

crittergarden , I think the butterfly weed just went into shock or something, it was in low forties when it arrived. I brought the baby caryopteris inside for a week and that one is doing great. The other plant just keep getting sicker and sicker till it died.
Thanks for the offer on the seed, but I might already have some. Let me go through my seeds and I will let you know later.

That giant box is perfect for blocking weeds... use it in a lasagna compost bed.

It's a prolific seeder and I have given plants to neighbors as well (Monarch host plant), so I'll allways have some seeds.
