Thumb of 2012-02-24/Debbie/52ee70 I know it's a little early, but with our 60 and 70 degree temps,
I just had to purchase a few plants to brighten up a little corner of my yard.

LOL, I bought the foxglove and gardenias at Home Depot yesterday. I'm going back tomorrow for more. I love it. They were kinda high but I love the colors.

Now, I will have to find myself a pretty concrete basket like yours, I love it!

I agree about being jealous of the weather. It has turned cold here again, we might even get a dusting of snow tomorrow. Sad

LOL, well, my husband said it is supposed to go down to 40 in the morning. But after that our highs are predicted in the mid 70's. So who knows. I have learned in the past to wait til March 15 to purchase plants, but I just couldn't help myself yesterday. Whistling

And Lynn, several of my succulents made in thru the winter (not that we really had winter this year). I'll post pics on your thread later on.

Some winter containers. As the weather warms the pansys will show a bit more color. So much rain in the last few weeks.

We have nothing but bare ground and snow. Cardinals are singing their mateing calls so spring is close.

Very pretty springcolor, thank you for the photos. Well, I have been doing some research on Geraniums and I'm afraid I might get hooked. LOL

JoAnn, I'll send you some warm air up your way. I can't wait to start seeing your pretty flowers this year. I'm so happy I don't live where it snows.

Brrrr Karen and Lynn. Would ya'll like some of this warmth too? :smily:

Our weather forecast for the next week is Lowest morning 55 Highest afternoon 80. But again, it's been known to change quickly, so I still have to cool my garden energy for a few more weeks.

Feb. and March are really hard on us northerners. We are sick of winter
Ordering spring plants gets us jazzed for blooms
Its 2 more months before we see a crocus.

I'll take the warmth, its going to 50 today but 30 at night. Then temps will be in the 30's. At least the waves of warm air are on their way.

Sighhhhh, it will be in the mid 40's today with sun. Now I have to try and get the back yard mowed before it starts raining again tomorrow and for at least the next week. Sad
We are having just enough warmth to trigger growth in the lawn. This is not good, the far back yard still has places that are quite wet and can't be mowed. Crying
