This is from Cece on Dave's.
Well I am still here. Not an easy feat let me tell you. Yesterday morning I found myself whisked out of bed up in the air and plumped in the middle of the car ds driving like he was in the Indy 500. Seems I was having a bad reaction to the diazapam and my breathing was so labored dh got my son up and said drive ER NOW. I have so much pain in the neck, shoulders and upper back I can not find a comfortable position. I had call the Oncologist about 8:30 Saturday night and he asked when was your last diazapam told him around 8 that morning. You can take it every 6 hours why put yourself through that? Took one and around 4 in the morning dh woke up to me breathing so labored he thought I was about to buy the farm DS got us to ER in record time with a squad following and wouldn't you know it once the medical personnel got outside and got me inside, the cop STILL gave him a ticket? They gave me an injection and fixed the problem within about 10 minutes. DS is fighting the ticket and got a signed statement from the attending ER doc that it was indeed a medical emergency and not a teenage trick.
The muscle relaxer diminished my respirations down to nothing almost. One more thing to add the my allergy list. Now I am to take only Aleve no more than three at a time every 8 hours, does help with the pain in the neck. Seems the pain is from the bone strenghtener they put in the chemo. Doc said if you'd have actually read the info I gave you of the drugs that chemo would include I would have known that.. DM showed up about 9:30 yewterday morning flitting around like a nurse driving me absolutely bonkers. Said MOM FIND something to do do I don't care What it is...She reorganized my pantry. I'll probably never find anything in there again, but bless her heart she just wants to help take care of me and I will never ever tell her to stop. Just quit trying to FEED me all the time! LOL Three times I was offered bacon, eggs, toast and raw fries. uH Mom please?????
Feel so much better today, no pain anywhere and getting a few things done.
I'll try to check in more often.Nancy feel free to share any info at the other sites. I am having a tad amount of time just getting here,
