Hi Sue, I just happened upon your question which I seemed to have missed when it was 1st sent. I am verifying that the 12 ft. tall bushes are 'Plum Delight'. We bought 4 tagged from Monrovia as 3 ft. bushes about 2003 at a local nursery. I saw an article in Southern Living Magazine about that time that if untrimmed they can reach 15 ft. here in South Louisiana. That's a 5 ft. fence & they continue to get 6 in. taller & wider a year growing in a full sun exposure. They glow with hot pink flowers 3 times a year against the dark leaves. What a sight to behold. Only negative is they shed leaves year around as evergreen plants. I actually like them better than some crepe myrtles we planted about the same time that are deciduous and bare in Winter while these have leaves for shade.
