The cherry tomatoes are starting to roll in. I canned up my first batch of salsa for the season, using home-grown tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, and bell peppers (and frozen corn). We like to mix the salsa into sauteed vegetables.

Looks good. My entire onion crop was devastated by the allium leaf minner. Did you cover yours?

Rizzo, I thought I had a thread just for allium leaf miner but must have posted in the middle of another conversation. I have them too, finding some pupae in almost every garlic bulb. I have some ok onions, I used row cover for some weeks, and looked for the egg laying dots and cut those off. Terrible spoiler for sure. They may not be in GA yet.
Plant it and they will come.

@RizzoR, I did not have any issue with allium leaf miner. Knock on wood, the onions have been a pretty trouble-free crop, unlike my blueberries (mummy disease), green beans (rabbits!), raspberries (June bugs), and now the tomatoes (horn worms).

It takes courage to be a gardener!

I may have forgotten about picking the okra before it got too big.

My goal is to keep these bushes as perennials rather than having to plant them every year.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.

Lol!
Mine start branching, then for unknown causes start to yellow and lose leaves. I attribute to aging after much pod production even though >I keep harvesting.
Plant it and they will come.

I've been enjoying another flush of fruit from my Pitanga and I've started making tea from the leaves of the Purple Passionflower. I crush, ferment, and then dry the leaves. Bonus, the used tea leaves are a favorite treat of my sister's horse.

Big Bertha pepper, and some sugar snap peas cut and frozen as they came a few at a time, and garlic.
Plant it and they will come.

I made BLTs from my own home grown tomatoes today. First of the season. Although I have been eating tomatoes. Tomato and cucumber salads and just slice up a tomato and eat it. Either with dinner or by itself.

Not sure if I had , had that, since the last time Ma cooked it fifty years ago. Thumbs up

so, just simmer the beans in cream? I've never heard of that way.
Plant it and they will come.

Ya, just a slow simmer in heavy cream, or thinned out slightly with half & half if one wants a thinner sauce.

I pepper mine heavily. I tip my hat to you.

Brocolli and Cauliflower soup.
Added a pound of fried bacon.
Good stuff; Sammy was sitting on my lap and sniffing the bowl so I lowered it for him and he had that old tongue going like crazy sucking it up. I tip my hat to you.

Finally enough green beans for a meal. OG likes them plain with just a dab of margarine (pretty much the only salty thing he eats); I put lots of salt in a skillet previously used for frying veggie burgers, add the drained cooked beans and give them a light toasting. Nice light evening meal with sev, a spicy Indian fried snack - one of my favourites, when I can get it. (Imports have been hit-and-miss the last couple of years.)
Behind every opportunity is a disaster in waiting.
