clintbrown said:I got Fire Alarm and Paprika. If you have Autumn Leaves, you basically have Fire Alarm as it is just a selection out of Autumn Leaves. To be honest I can't see any difference in the two.

Paprika is awesome! It has a nice orange color to it now. Delta Dawn is another good one with better color than Miracle.

Clint - Is Paprika as orange as TN's photo and do you have it in sun or shade?

It's redder right now. I think the weather is so hot that it changed some. I love it though. I have it in morning sun / afternoon shade.

I can't wait either as for some reason the order didn't ship on Mon or Tue. But it's okay because it's so hot I don't feel like planting anything. I am really loving Midnight Bayou and Spellbound here as once they were moved to the shade the colors are more saturated. Maybe before sundown I'll go out and take a picture.

Still 97 degrees out but here are a few pics which could have been better if I hadn't noticed the black snake about a foot from Spellbound and ran.

It is best to give the light green ones no direct sunlight at all if possible. They seem to do best in a bright area with no direct light.

Beautiful!! Really like Midnight Bayou. My entire gardens are pretty much getting fried. 105 here yesterday, supposed to be about the same today. Sure is an unusually hot, brutal year. Have probably had 1/2" of rain total in the last two months.

I think I have lost more of my heuchs due to high temps and insignificant amounts of rain, than to harsh winters. It doesn't seem to matter how much I mulch and water either. I know last summer we were in the 105-106 range. I wouldn't be surprised if we hit that this year as well.

I like all 3 of those!!! So what kind of a snake was it that frightened you off!! Confused

I know - Appalachian Trail and Sunset Ridge which I just got this yr look like they have been lit with a match. Paprika arrives tomorrow and I'm already wondering how long it will surrive.

Christine, it was a black snake that startled me.

Here's Paprika's summer color. Not the best photo but it was so hot I didn't even feel like opening the box.

They look like nice plants. I did not realize they turned such a dark summer color.

Hi Bob, I didn't even think about it and I bought them to line a jewel toned bed with daylilies, which of course bloom in summer. So I'm thinking Paprika isn't going to work if the orange is a spring or fall color.

Sounds very nice. I think I am going to hold off getting any others till next spring , the weather has been so bad. Hopefully we will start getting some rain .
