I've recently ordered a batch of five S.S. (barerooted) and I expect their arrival in a couple of weeks. Do you grow them in both gardens? (UK and France) . How big do these shrubs grow in your conditions? I'm most attracted with the deep organge colours almost red of these DAs. They'll be kept inside my cool greenhouse until spring ( potted) and possibly spend their full first growing season potted until I place them out in their permanent position in fall. Hi Arturo, we have Summer Song only in England, not in France, but I grow other David Austins in France with no problem. I think you might get more useful advice from Suzanne @Calif_Sue or zuzu @zuzu, both of whom I believe grow SS in California.
I too love the unusual colour of SS. Good luck with your new plants; I'm sure you will love them!

Thank you very much Mika. The nearest climate to my place that I've found searching up to now, is northern Tasmania! In California D.A's grow huge, way beyond those advertised by D.A himself in the respective descriptions. Roses do many times unexpected things
