Hi Dave, I am trying to upload Hyacinth - Carengie White in the plant database but it won't even upload. Can you help?

What exactly are you trying to do? (Add a plant, upload a photo, add databox information, etc). Let me know what you're clicking on and what you're entering in and maybe if you're getting an error message, let me know what the error is saying.

I am trying to add a new plant to the database. I filled in the Common Name and the Cultivar (that is all I have) and when I hit the green "add the plant" button nothing happened, no error, nothing.

You will have to have at least the proper name for it I think. Maybe you can google what the correct (botanical) name is?

You need to also add the genus Hyacinthus.
Dave, when I tried it the same way with just the common name and cultivar name, I get this message at the top "Important: Don't add quotes around the names. The system will add those automatically when appropriate."
I didn't have any quotes but it seems to default to that way, at least I assume that's what's going on. Maybe adding that the genus needs to be filled in too would prevent this error.

If you just type in 'Hyacinth' to the search, it will show you the entire listing and you can see the genus name.
