The word lovely comes to mind viewing your pictures today, Jim. The 'Blue Birds' are calling me and your Orchid wall is very pretty! Your Orchids are loving the OC.
I have a friend that is growing orchids and he had one that he thought was 'apple blossom'...didn't someone
recently post a beautiful picture of a plant with that name? I've scrolled and scrolled
I followed my nose today and found some Bulbophyllum patens blooms and a bunch more buds! This Bulbo has a most interesting scent - imagine a combo of raspberries and and a smoky fire, not unpleasant at all.
Hopefully the next blooms might provide an opportunity to get a front view of the good size blooms.
Here is another Stelis with pendant strings of hairy blooms - this is Stelis ciliaris, just starting a blooming cycle.
This cute little Pleurothallis mathildae was picked up last weekend at the SEPOS, the blooms are teensy!
And my Appendicula elegans has hardly ever slowed down blooming since I bought it some years ago. Th tiny flowers are easily missed.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.
