Good to know, Michele. Already put it on the list. Really love
it when they are that size.

Well I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel today, not much blooming yet. My first one that isn't a new arrival is blooming. American Flyer is so bright and cheery. Plus it is very pod fertile. May have a couple of others blooming tomorrow.

Am Flyer is so very bright. I'll bet you can see it from a long distance.

By the way, Nicole Harry DeVito has a large SF of Ehren Thomas on the auction right now with no bids. If the fans of several daylilies she sent me this spring are any indication, then when she says large fan, she really means LARGE fan.

It also appears to have very good substance. Glossy, smooth look.
Love them like that.

Well, it is cold this morning. I have several "trying" to open. The way it looks is that, they will open later when the sun is at it's highest, and I don't take pictures in the bright sun. Sure wish I had a white umbrella. Other than that, I guess I can wait until the sun is behind my big crepe myrtle this afternoon. But fresh open flowers are so pretty, I hate them later in the day.

American Flyer has trouble opening. I saw these nice open flowers later in the day yesterday and decided to take pictures. It is a gorgeous yellow that is very hard to photograph.

We will see what happens and I will edit this post if I get some good pictures. Opening today is my new Pacifica from Floyd Cove and Picotee Prism. Also I have 2 flowers opening on Ehren Thomas and one on Can't Touch This and Pirate Moon.

I have scapes coimng out all over the place now, it is sooooo exciting.

Dot,
I got my white umbrella online. I can't remember where but when I searched for it I had lots of options. It doesn't have a handle as it's made to screw into a photographer's stand, but works just the same and wasn't expensive.

Ok, I need to get a white unbrella. Before I jump head first, is there any advise on kind, shape, handle, cloth or anything that since you bought yours, if only, you would get now.

I like them wide and have learned the hard way to read the reviews for durability. Some are flimsy and won't hold up outdoors. As for color, I get white. It nicely diffuses the sunlight without altering the color much.

Mona, I got a white one also. It's the photography umbrellas (a regular one may work as well, not sure). They don't have handles as Leslie said because they are made to go into the photographer stands. I got the 33" and when I need to get another I will get the 50 something inch one because the 33" isn't big enough sometimes. I got mine from Amazon for around $13 and it seems durable enough for the cheap price.
