Found this insect in our Yucca plant. Thanks to Janet at cubits for the ID - a katydid.

Hard to see right away in the Yucca plant with its color..but is sure looks delicate and sweet..I just hope it won't dine too much on my plants though Big Grin

I've got some katydids also. They always eat foliage around my place every year and make lots of noise later on. Just happened that I was looking for a place to post about a weird beetle I noticed lately. So today I started an insects and bugs thread on the Gardening for Wildlife forum. Just thought I'd mention that...wasn't sure where insects should go.
