Am I seeing things, because that looks like a second stalk shooting up out of the same spot on the rhizome. I've never seen anything like that!
TB 'Starting Fresh' blooming for me in May of 2022. It bloomed for a week and a half with nine buds.

Not seeing things, Monty.
Good eye, Suzanne--it is a triplet. First time I've ever seen three. For the first time ever, also had at least a dozen double stalks this year on various Irises. Thought the phenomenon was nifty.

Wow - I didn't even notice the third. My eyes were too fastened on the double. That must be one very healthy/floriferous iris there!

Monty, I just received it in 2015. Struggled and didn't bloom the next year. Had one stalk in 2017. Seeing this year's output was a surprise.
