They all look great, Lee! I think #3 is an encyclia but I may be wrong. Like the new growth on the Epi!

Thanks Boo, I'm sure you are right about #3. If they make it through the Summer I 'might' bring them in this Fall//Winter IF they bloom. Lee Big Grin

I agree Lancifolia is a wonderful orchid. Nice soft yellow on the 'Canary'.

I'll call this zooming in on the Aerides houlletiana.

If only I could smell them. Now where is the scratch and sniff button. Someone could get rich! We have sound clips, videos, touch screens, and descriptions of food that make your mouth water but no flowers we can smell....

So, I started moving my orchids out today, throwing things in the compost, debugging (almost every catt), and inventory. I thought I could have them out to fertilize today. HAHAHAHAHA Rolling my eyes. What was I thinking? Sad Instead, it looks like a week's task. Thumbs down Need to create new hangers and new ideas to squeeze in TOO MANY ORCHIDS. Angry Crying Grumbling

Oh I know I only complain on the two times I move them and they bring me so much joy but today I want them to go away....where is Jo? She could get an armload for free today! BTW, the inventory task has been chucked! Pray for sanity!

I just looked out the window and they are all smiling at me out in the breeze (at least the ones that are out there). Angel Such demanding kids!

I need a group hug..... Whistling

Kathy, I sure can feel with you! I had to treat a LOT of Orchids this year. I suppose the sheer increase in the amounts of Orchids results in more bugs which can jump from plant to plant with ease.

Lee, Orchid #1 will add growth this Summer to bloom next season. The plant looks fine.
Orchid #2/ Mabel Kanda looks a bit lush, but there is nothing wrong with the plant either. The leaf color looks fine. I would think, let the outdoors toughen it up a bit.

Carol, I love the Enc lancifolia mounted like that. Lovey dubby

Jim, very pretty. I have to show your Aerides houlletiana to my little plant to entice it to do something.

Bree, they are on the north side of the shed and get covered with shade cloth around 4 PM to protect them from strong west light coming from the right side. Because the right end gets the most light, the vandaceous go there.

Looking good, Kathy, but the thought of moving all of those orchids is what drove me to my big lanai conversion. By the way, construction should start up again tomorrow after three weeks waiting for the custom windows to arrive. I sure hope so.

I spotted Dendrobium Lilac Swirls blooming in the trees this morning.
