Jo did you cover the ones outside? Mine have been under the tarps for a few days now, i did order a clear tarp from ebay for more light. But I think we will all survive the dark days okay.

My Anguloa virginalis is blooming! Smiling The 4 flowers are fully open.
The plant flowers together with the emerging new growth. The large leaves are usually dropped then in Midwinter.

Great Expectations/ her old wedding dress?

Jim, mine does not get any cool temperatures, but I suspect I water it less when it sits in the greenhouse over the Winter, since the large leaves cover a lot of the basket. I water over the top. Your conditions should be ok. You might set it in the yard on cooler days though if you wanted. Think Machu Picchu!

I've been to Machu Picchu twice and loved it both times. That's a good enough reason to start looking for Anguloa orchids. Hilarious!

There is a much needed light rain falling here this morning but I managed to take some pictures under the lanai cover. I just noticed Bulbo frostii was blooming.

This is the last bloom left on Blc Keowee 'Newberry'. Beautiful and fragrant.

Frostii is my best Bulbo bloomer.

I went out to the bushes between raindrops and found a couple more bloomers. This is Dendrobium Burana 'Green Star':
