I've had a fun week with my shirts and since neither of them nor the hats will be going to a Derby party I might as well post them here now.
I have a hard time getting someone to take my picture when I'm out and about. Could have been the hats, I don't know.
There was a fishing tournament at the marina, but I managed anyway, amongst all the fishing boats and scales and hooks and rods and reels and slime and pickup trucks. And the wind was blowing. I said "Be sure to get the sign in the picture." Almost missed me both times but here's the sign. Sigh.
That was yesterday. Today it was to the local Dairy Queen, there's a bench and roses. Missed the roses but you can see the bench. I hope. The triple chocolate blizzard was to die for.
I think I should have stuck with the same size for both shirts. This orange one seems to have a bit of extra fabric but I love the color. The hat's somewhat on the side of big too, but it's Derby week, and everybody needs Derby hats no matter the size. Look at the center of the hat's sunflower. Heh!
So from there to the local bank and there was a girl in a white 1994 Camaro who had a black eye. I know the car because back in the day I had one too except mine was teal. Anyway, there's a lovely landscaped area with the nicest little dark red Japanese maple and roses just to the side of the bank. Sort of got the maple, missed the roses almost, and I didn't get a picture of the black eye or the Camaro. But I wanted to.
Finally back home; my very own peonies, roses, weeds, tall grass, bindweed and me.
Lots of fun and a few comments about my shirts. I meant to go to our local nursery, but for whatever reason the gates were locked by the time I got there. Could be it was after 5 and closing time.
The end.
