Gala said:My favorite thread. Rolling my eyes. I am a huge fan of variegated plants in all colors. I have many and still want some more rare ones. All of yours are beautiful. I too have some of the same plants that you do. I even have variegated weeds, haha. They just want me to like them too. Rolling on the floor laughing

Thank You! I wish I could ID all Crotons. If I have or had, it is pretty easy if I remember the name. I have a few that I lost the tags and I just can not remember the name. When the Croton Society existed garden tours, freebies, auctions and "Crotonheads' helped expand my knowledge. It did not hurt that the Society President lived only a few miles from me.
I have heard rumor that the Croton Society Forum may soon disappear along with the great Database of Crotons.

Thank you, ScotTi! I sometimes forget the name of the plant at the moment I type and may remember it next day. Hilarious! I got some new crotons from Tropiflora fastival today. Will take some pictures tomorrow to show.
All three off my 'Sweet Stripes' are blooming. That's upsetting, not a good time for develope the fruit.

I just bought this over the weekend. I like the look of it but didn't really know much about it. The tag said Aurea. I looked it up and it's some kind of creeping Jenny. They kept telling me I could put it in a pot but I ended up putting it in the ground. I wish I'd gotten more but I need to stop being plants. I think it will spread nicely and I can cut some pieces off to put in a pot.

@honeyx4, That's really gorgeous!

I looked at the label again and it says lysimachia procumbens aurea.

I looked it up and I remember her telling me it would get little yellow flowers on it. I will add it to the plant database.

I thought it very pretty, interesting and different.

Thanks
