I must be nuts because I came home today with another tomato plant. Had to get something in Home Depot so I go look at their tomato plants again. That makes 50. 50 plants. Nuts! This one Better Bush, one of the Bonnie Plants in the very big peat pots. It is loaded with blooms and even has a tomato set already.

nodding I keep thinking the same way. That is how I end up with so many tomato plants. Hilarious! Green Grin! Rolling my eyes.

But all my tomatoes are looking good, growing, some are flowering and I even have a baby tomato already set on one of my FOURTH OF JULY plants.

Rita,

WAPSIPINICON PEACH - is a small yellow pink tomato with a bit of peach fuzz on it. It's really quite tasty. Moby introduced me to it a few years back. :)

WISCONSIN 55 - is just a good all round red tomato.

BLACK SEA MAN - is new to me this year, so, I have no idea how it will be. :)

AZOYCHKA - is an heirloom Russian yellow beefsteak. It is just fantastic. Twin Lakes Chef gave me one at a Dave's Round up in Cedar Rapids about five or six years ago. She has excellent taste in tomatoes. Smiling

Here are my tomatoes this year, growing in front of my patio behind a daylily bed to hide em from the street.

I have already gotten some little cherry tomatoes off one in a pot. It's setting new ones now. Only one of these has fruit on it yet but they are a good 3 feet high. Can't wait to eat em!
Yellow Pear, Sweet 100, Homestead and Black Prince. Lost the tag and don't remember the cherry one that's already been eaten.
Hugs, Mich and Crew!

I think I've let my tomatoes grow as high as I'm gonna let em grow. They are to the top of my head. Time to make more fruit.Thumb of 2012-06-01/keyi/0e3274
