Well, thanks for the heads up, anyway. I'll try to remember to let you know how it went.

Got my order from Arcadia today - well packed, nice stuff, no problems. Not drop-dead fast, but not lagging, either.

I just hope my plants make it soon, before we get much colder again.....!

Glad to hear the medium and pots arrived! Did she ship the plants yet? They come in 3 days usually from ebay sellers.

I bought 3 from them last year but only the Dendrobium Princess x unicum has bloomed. I put them in my fav sellers group but I rarely want 3 plants from one seller.

Yeah, I can relate... I was just absolutely in love with the Beallara Marfitch 'Howards Dream' ever since someone entered a pic of one in bloom on DG's photo contest thread. When I saw it for sale, well.... so I got 2 of those and one of the Wilsonara, just to see how I'd do. I've never seen an orchid for sale in this area for less than $20, so it seemed a worthwhile guess.

I'll be there - heck, I'm there already, enjoying everyone *elses* successes!

Where can I go to find out (I'm sure this has been asked before) just how many orchids you all have? Rolling on the floor laughing

What about fertilisers? Do you use liquid, powder, pellet...ect.? I always try to use liquid because i don't like having to disolve the powder and im scared about putting pellets or anything on my orchids in straight form (i.e: not diluted).
Weak weekly remember Rolling my eyes. more like weak monthly for me. Hilarious!
Ive just neally used the last of my orchid fertiliser and am not sure which to get now. I know i probly wont be able to get the same as you's do here in Australia.

Sheryl, it's like counting the stars in the galaxy...no one knows for sure how many orchids we have!
Ursula and Kathy have alluded to taking inventory when they cart their plants out of the house in the
spring and back again in the fall...but I think the number is so high that it's frightening to put in print! Rolling on the floor laughing

Well Ursula hasn't counted in years and I know I have around 400 but many are tiny ones. Not sure about the rest of us.

Ah, I used them for orchids with fine roots mostly.
