ShawnSteve said:@Serjio. Yes, it is planted with great abundance of bearded Iris! Oh, how have your Iris species seeds been doing? ( Maybe response is better, in that post, thread.) Were you able to join Societies, to gain access, to International seed exchanges? I hope so.
Yes, it requires land, to grow so many beautiful plants. At my location, drainage is rather poor & there has been much precipitation lately. Hopefully the sunshine returns tomorrow.

Thanks, Shawn. Yes, I was able to join seed exchange societies. Today I was involved in the planting of some species. But this process is long, wait a few years of flowering. Today I read that Spuria irises, obtained from seeds, flowers after 5 year! Although, if every year new plants bloom and this stream of surprises is continuous, the expectation is not so painful)

That is good to know, you were able to join. It does seem to be a very long while for Spurias.
5 years.. really? I have grown some cactus plants , from seeds, to flowering size, faster than Spuria! I hope they are easily germinated...

I myself am curious to know if this is true. If someone has experience with growing Spurrier, please share
