Greene, we have checked the field and there is no clover; I don't think I've ever seen Alsike clover in this area. Also I was not feeding hay when these two horses became ill. The ag. agent did say that any of the plants in the sunflower family can be toxic if eaten in sufficient quantity; so I suppose "The Plant" could have been the culprit - maybe.
