I didn't know you could do leaf cuttings, but the stems do well. I've tried to collect seeds, but never had any luck. They may be so small I couldn't see them. Those rhizomes increase so rapidly after a season, I've never been inclined to try the crumbled up rhizomes. I know that no matter how hard you try to get all the old rhizomes for repotting, the old potting soil will give you a full pot of Achimenes, whether you wanted them or not Smiling . I have trouble finding homes for any excess, so I end up letting many of them simply freeze outside.
