Background history:
'Starman's Quest' is a dormant diploid introduced in 1989 by Clayton Burkey. He owned and did his hybridizing at "Hickory Hill Gardens" in Loretto, Pennslyvania. See his website (which was last updated in 2009):

Starman's Quest is an Unusual Form - Crispate mid-season bloomer. It has earned the following AHS awards: Award of Merit: 2004, RWM: 2011, DCS: 2014, and Honorable Mention: 2001. It is both pod and pollen fertile with 80 registered children:
