I love walking in the grass barefoot but other than that, I wear sandals (support sandals in my old age
) I even wear sandals with socks in the winter. Looks stupid but I like the freedom of my feet not being forced into shoes.
That said, when working in the garden or anywhere outside, I wear long pants and work boots as in construction high top boots even in the 90+ temps in the summer.
I always wondered how folks could dig a hold in the ground with a shovel while being barefoot. I've had the opportunity to see Shoe do that. Unbelievable!
