, I finally was able to find a perfect spot to plant my peony seeds. Now, the waiting begins! Will find out what happens in a few years.
Hopefully, some will germinate and grow. I am really excited about these species seeds, P. Peregrine, P. Mlokosewitschii, P. Tenuifolia double X P. Tenufolia Rosea. Also planted are some tree peony seeds and herbaceous peony seeds. I got these seeds from a seminar about growing peonies from seeds from Bob Johnson.
This year, I ordered P. Tenufolia Rosea from Adelman's Peonies. I am really excited about this pink fernleaf and hope it does well for me. I would love to cross it with the double red fernleaf peony to get some more seeds of this cross. Some people have been successful getting a double pink fernleaf from such crosses. At this time, the double pink fernleaf is very rare and expensive.
