Tell me something. You have named seeds. When that packet of seeds has a name, is that just the seed-pod parent?

You'll have to tell me how successful you are in over-wintering the Pudica. I lost the only one I had (a rooted cutting) over the winter (2013). I think, because of its narrow structure, it couldn't withstand a long dormancy. I could now grow one in the Solarium over the winter months.

Considering that I got the seeds planted with no problems - Yep. I would call that a rousing success. nodding Hurray! Thumbs up

Re names: Got me. Hilarious! I bought them from Brad's Buds and Blooms. I presume they are the pod parent. Regarding the other other parent .... Shrug! Got me. My presumption is same type plant is used on both sides.

I could not find any info on his site WRT how pollinated. I purchased from him after reading favorable reviews here. Keep in my that I am Pre-Newby doing this. Heh Rolling my eyes. I even reviewed his Blog - nothing there either.

WRT Over wintering - they do have to germinate first Blinking Assuming they do so - and I fully expect 100 % germination Green Grin! - ask me in about 18 months. At which time I fully expect them to be blooming - fer sure. Whistling Rolling on the floor laughing
