What about the daylilies Mary's Gold or Cheddar Cheese . One of my favourite colors is actually "school bus yellow" . I painted my kitchen that color I like it so much ! I recall a couple of years ago wanting to add some purple daylilies to my gardens .......so with that in mind I went and visited a daylily nursery .....I wandered and wandered looking for those purples that I wanted to add but kept being drawn back to two separate daylilies that were "school bus yellow" . I never did get those purples ......but I grow both Mary's Gold and "Cheddar Cheese in my gardens ......People spot them from across the yard and are drawn to them too......
