Yes I did Lucky. I spoke with the CA Ag. agent a few days after those plumeria were shipped and he asked if they could inspect the package. I told him to go right ahead. He called me the following day and said the plumeria were fine and nothing was found. In fact he said the plants were as "clean" as any he had ever examined. He sent the box along to you. It took them a month to send out this form. Why it was sent is a mystery to me.

A dog sniffed the plants out. Shrug!

I did promise him that in the future I would put a label on all boxes headed to CA stating the contents, my county and state, and permission to inspect the box's contents. I have already made those labels and will use them in the future. In fact, I have already used the label on two boxes. I want to do the right thing. Thank goodness that CA is the only state that has a plant-sniffing dog (paid for through a federal grant - my and your taxes). If this becomes a more common problem, I will simply stop shipping to CA. In the previous five years, I had never had a box of plants held up in CA. This box of plumeria was the second in a month. I guess they just got the dogs.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
