We all seem to be in agreement about raw broccoli. cauliflower, etc....so that's good.

Zu is right. Water chestnuts are the pits. Your comment about broccoli and cancer reminds me of when Gilda Radner did her character Rhonda Weiss...and she'd say, "I'd ratha be a skinny girl with cancer than a healthy girl with fat thighs."

Thumbs up to lemon cukes and green onions.

Why do they call RED ONIONS "red" when they're clearly PURPLE ???
Speaking of things purple, anyone like Borscht ? I love it.
