Anyone use this for chemical scarification/germination assistance? KNO3 can be purchased as Stump Remover
I have used it on occasion and now have an experiment with Canna seeds
Control - soak overnight in H2O2/water solution
Test 1 - scarified on sandpaper and soak overnight in H2O2/water solution
Test 2 - chemical scarification in Potassium Nitrate
Test 3 - Boiling water over seed.
Control & Tests 1 & 2 are working overnight. I will do the boiling water tomorrow and plant tomorrow night.
