I don't usually grow seedlings in my house from the year before. Last summer I forgot to plant this one in my sdlg. garden, and at the end of the season when it got cold, I found this sdlg. left behind on my deck. I repotted it, and brought into the house, and placed it in the dining-room window. In the past month, I have been feeding it some dry soluble Seaweed extract. Voila! It bloomed today. This is a 13 month old sdlg,, purchased from Ruby last Winter on the LA, with 6 buds, 6" orange bloom veined in red, green throat. This is sdlg.

So nice in the middle of Winter, looking out the window at the ski slopes in the distance, with a lovely breathe of summer blooming in my house.
