Mary and Karen -- the more I think about it, I wonder if the leaves looked kind of washed out because the plants were growing in flower boxes on our deck railing, on the south side of the house; do you usually grow them in full sun like that, or is it better to grow them maybe where they get sun for a shorter time during the day?
