I just had fun making this flowerpot. I used a normal terracotta pot and prettied it up with genuine seashells, shell chips, and sparkly beads. I painted the rim inside and out with metallic gold paint. It's very easy to do. I glued the shells on with Loctite all purpose clear caulk in the little tube, not the huge caulking gun tube! These are best as a cachepot with another smaller pot inside it. It can't be immersed in water, or used in the open outdoors. I do use them under my patio roof.
