Do it! A lot of people have shells from vacations and never use them. At least this way they can be used and enjoyed. It doesn't have to be seashells or seaglass either. It can be almost anything. Beads of all sizes work well. Some people make them out of junk costume jewelry and they turn out really pretty. They can be made of almost anything that is small. Some people make memory pots using their small pins and jewelry or buttons they've save. All button ones work well, too. Lots of us have jars or tins of old buttons. Now I think I might have to make one with my buttons!
