That's cool. I got Amaranth to germinate by direct sowing in early summer, and grow a few inches, then they noticed how cool the weather was where I live.

They stopped growing and got got totally sulky and uncooperative. Then either something ate them or they moved South in the middle of the night.

I'm guessing that slugs discovered that they like baby-leaf Amaranth.

The foliage looks really pretty, but I didn't have good luck growing them in a cool summer area.
