I'd guess a mulberry. I have one in my fence line (underneath a mature, fruiting mulberry) that looks the same. I keep whacking it back, but it really needs to be dug out...along with the rest of new ones that get missed in their first year.
Mine grows back with at least twice the number of branches... similar to sculpting and shaping a shrub for fullness.
