Check out the great big huge ginormous healthy BEAUTIFUL hosta I won at the Wisconsin Hosta Society sale and auction today! People were anticipating this one would go for around $100, but I can tell you that, since it went toward the end of the auction and I was one cool customer who didn't cash in all my chips on one plant early, I got this for a LOT less.
This baby is huge. The photo doesn't do it justice. I barely fit it into the back of my minivan, and had to bend it down a bit (it was none the worse for wear) to get it in.
Hubby and I just started prepping an addition to the front bed for 'Sagae' and friends. They should be planted tomorrow.
