I thought I'd share a few of my new babies for the season (which, I shouldn't have to remind anyone, is FAR from over Whistling )

The first of my new arrivals is 'Liberty,' still in the nursery pot and waiting for the perfect space.

And here's 'Heavenly Tiara,' ordered from Made in the Shade. It's small, but growing well so far.

'Blue Ivory' was planted in April, but has put on a few new leaves since then. I am loving this hosta. I think it gets just the right amount of sunlight in this location, too.

'Sno Cone' is an interesting one. It's supposed to "green up in heat," but it has actually always had quite a bit of green in the white center. Perhaps because it's young, or perhaps just a quirk of this plant. Either way, I like it. It reminds me of peppermint candy.

Poor 'Roy Klehm' is just a single eye and looks a little worse for the wear. This one was also shipped from Made in the Shade. He's putting on a couple new leaves and I'm sure he'll look much less bedraggled next year.

I really need to get my front bed expanded so I can get 'Liberty' and friends in the ground. I've got a few to be planted now that are still in nursery pots. Problem with the nursery pots is that the stupid chipmunk (aka - the bane of my gardening existence) keeps digging in them. I've moved them to the front (screened) porch, but he gets in there too somehow. Furry little... Grumbling

Normally, I feel a little sad if my greyhounds kill an animal, even though they're just doing what greyhounds do. But I have declared war on chipmunks, and they can do in as many as they like. Glare

These are my latest newbies, 'Rainforest Sunrise' and 'Vulcan.' Also picked up 'Holy Mouse Ears,' which I don't have a good photo of. On my list of mousy hostas to get, I've been on the lookout for 'Pure Heart.'

Nice ones!

These are new to my gardens. The larger ones are from Green Hill Hostas..Bob and Nancy Solberg's nursery. Top to bottom they are Sun Worshiper, Blueberry Tart and Coconut Custard.

This is one I got the winning bid on the First Look Auction this winter.

It's from my hybridizing friend Rick Goodenough and 'Simon Says Shout' is it's name.

Those are some amazing hostas, Jeff. I find myself intrigued by 'Black Hills' and 'Van Gogh,' but they're all awesome. Thumbs up

Jeff, those are amazing!!! I just received a nice big double division of 'Made You Look' OS today from Stuart that I won on the hosta auction site. He included 'Wallstreet Classic' as a bonus plant. Got them planted before another round of thunderstorms came through.

Okay, these next two pictures are not hostas per se, but a quilt I bought today at a relief sale auction - it has hosta leaves on the printed portion! Andy and I saw it at the sale preview and LOVED IT - it is bright electric fluorescent green. Pictures do not do it justice, I bet you could see this thing from space. I had to share with other hostaholics Big Grin
