I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Dog Lover Hostas
I thought that too, Elizabeth, but then I wondered if it was just normal variation in the margins on a young plant.

What do you hosta experts think I should do with it--divide off the eye or let it be and watch to see what happens?

EDIT: Looking at it, it's not confined to one eye. The plant has two eyes and the leaves with wider margins are one on each eye. Guess I'll just let it be and enjoy the show. Smiling
