These amazing projects are great examples of the fun & good things one can do with math, or said another way, a fun and good thing that requires some math, or at least careful measuring, to do. If only we could teach math while standing up, doing worthwhile/necessary/fun things, everyone would get & enjoy it, or at least more of it! Sorry for the nerdy interjection, couldn't resist!


I love your interjection..Your comment reminds me about children of today..Math and fun things to do...Those days long ago when I was a child and had an imagination as tall as the empire state building..Building things and exploring the countryside...I remember beautiful blue summer skies, More lightning bugs than a coffee can could hold....Im so afraid those days are long gone...I think kids of today somehow miss this important time of there life..It makes me feel sorry for them...Im not sure if this goes along with you comment but I just needed to tell you this...
