Hi Terri! Thanks for the idea. This is very much what I'm thinking too...freestanding trellis "panels". The landscape timbers are "sort a" like 4X4s only smaller and with rounded sides. I've got a source for a bunch of free ones and I've got lots of old sheep fencing (a woven wire fence, very heavy gauge wire, but widely spaced). So I'm thinking in terms of what you were say...set up two posts, nail the wire into the space between. I'm just not certain WHERE to put them. I would like to divide up my (large) garden space into "rooms" but still not entirely sure where the "walls" should go. OOOooo I just thought of a place! *LOL* THANKS for turning on the lightbulb!
