If it's any consolation, we cannot keep any 'pretties' around here lower than 5-6' off the ground, inside at least. Lamps have no chance of staying upright unless they weigh about 50 lbs, anything at dog-eye-level is going to get beat off a table by a heavy, excited tail in pursuit of a tennis ball or stuffed toy.
